I set my career goal to be a REALTOR at a very young age. It was easy to catch the passion for real estate from my parents and learn an appreciation for our area while growing up in our family real estate business.
My parents taught me to cherish the things that made our area a special place to live. They wanted the forest, wildlife, and water to be a fiber of my being. They succeeded! I enjoy activities that reap all the benefits of living in the Upper Peninsula like: fishing for salmon on Lake Superior, watching the sunrise on a crisp fall morning while waiting for ducks to fly into our decoys, sitting on a fallen cedar tree in the woods while deer hunting, skiing through fresh powder after a lake-effect storm, and hiking on a warm spring day to see the rushing waterfalls during the melt. I fortunately found and married a man that loves all of these things and this area as much as I do. We are happy to live here as we raise our daughter. I understand being a part of a small community means that you take part in activities, lend a helping hand, and help solve problems. Real estate combines my passions for understanding and helping my community, the woods, recreating during each of the four seasons, and working with people into a fascinating lifestyle.
My knowledge of the woods helps me in listing and selling vacant land properties. Interest in our ever changing seasons helps me understand the recreational real estate market. My passion for welcoming people to our area is a catalyst for bringing in new businesses and finding families full time residential homes whether they are looking to rent or buy. I enjoy the challenge of helping people move forward into the next chapters of their lives. Last but not least, I love that investing in real estate diversifies an investing portfolio.
As soon as I turned 18, I got my real estate license in Michigan. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Gogebic Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I am a Michigan Associate Broker and licensed in Wisconsin. I believe it is imperative that we stay educated and strive to use the most cutting-edge technology to create a fun and informative environment for our clients and customers.
